Kip McGrath
Newcastle, NSW Nov 2018 - present
We are about to ship the MVP Learning Management System we built from the ground up. It was a success even on the first test and all users were extremely happy with the product. This is currently an ongoing development 29/06/22.
I have been working on various projects mostly around management and learning systems that cater for a wide range of users, from students to tutors, to centre managers. I designed an active design system, created solutions for better responsive interfaces, and for the last 6 months I have been leading the team with all design decisions and directions, working with stakeholders across the company.

Remote May 2016 - Present
I have had many positive opportunities collaborating with individuals and agencies over the years as a freelance designer. My experience spans from design consultations, print and digital design, branding, photography, social media, EDMs, textile design and repeats, wire-framing, storyboarding and research. I have 3 ongoing clients I work with outside of my 9-5, which encourages my skillset to remain diverse.
Baku Swimwear Australia
Homebush, NSW Feb 2017 - Jul 2018
As the sole designer at Baku, I managed POS print projects such as lightbox graphics, banners in wholesale and retail, but also found myself heavily involved in textile design and repeat set ups, marketing EDMs (Mailchimp), social media management, photography, website inventory and stock management. Towards the end, I was heavily involved in the transition and styling of Baku's new Shopify website which achieved higher sales, a huge reduction in user experience issues and an overall cleaner site map.
Leisures Shoe Boutique
Terry Hills, NSW Mar 2016 - Feb 2017
This role was my first leap into running the creative direction of a business by myself. I also managed POS print projects such as lightbox graphics, banners in wholesale and retail, marketing campaigns, EDMs (Mailchimp), social media management, photography, catalogue creation, website inventory, stock management and the styling/transition to Shopify. This also resulted in a huge spike in sale.
Growth Design's Product Psychology Mastery online course
Aug 2021 (too long)
On the side of full-time work at Kip McGrath, I managed to complete Growth Design's Product Psychology Mastery Course. I passed the course at 86% and applied the teachings to various projects at Kip McGrath. I really enjoy the insights and story-format of their teachings.

I chose to up-skill and officially gain a certificate in UX design to build knowledge and confidence in my own practice. I worked on a self-directed project where I chose to introduce a new collaborative account feature to Flatmates.com.au. I met all criteria for the project.
