Past races

General updates

Given the latest government advice, and the subsequent recommendation to cancel or postpone races from the FRA, all upcoming races are cancelled or postponed, for the foreseeable future.

• FRA are recommending, in line with government advice, that all races be suspended.
• EA are recommending suspension of all face-to-face activities, including club runs, committee meetings, events, etc.
• All Keswick AC, Helm Hill, Ambleside AC and many other clubs have cancelled all races and club events until further notice.
• All Parkruns in the UK (and other countries) are cancelled.
• All BOFRA races are suspended pending individual reviews. Sedbergh and Coniston Gullies are definitely cancelled. Final decisions will be made in the week before the races.
• Barkley Marathons 2020 is cancelled.
