This company policy includes the measures we are taking to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. You are required to follow all rules diligently, to help create a healthy and safe workplace.

While Scoot is following and reviewing a variety of resources, it is most closely reviewing information being provided by the California Department of Education (CDE), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Scoot’s Response Protocol

If you test positive to COVID-19, you will immediately be removed from your current assignment (if applicable) and have your availability suspended until you complete required isolation.

Persons Who Test Positive for COVID-19 (Isolation)

• Below required action applies to everyone, regardless of vaccination status, previous infection or lack of symptoms.

Required Action

• Stay home for a maximum of 5 days.
• If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 24 hours, you can leave your house. If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.
• Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

If you are exposed to someone with COVID-19, it is dependent on your vaccination/booster status, as to whether or not you will be able to continue your assignment, or need to be removed subject to quarantine.

Persons who are exposed to someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)

Required Action

• Wear a well-fitting mask around others for 10 days, especially in indoor settings.
• If symptoms develop, test and stay home.
