1. Business Travel

International Business travel: International business travel to be undertaken only if approved by management, in accordance with government policy and Safe Travel advice: NZ, Aust & USA.

Travel (incl Medical) insurance: Organise travel insurance prior to travel. The Operations team can assist with this if required.

Should travel or medical assistance be required whilst travelling on approved work travel, and to the extent that travel insurance does not cover the applicable costs, Joyous will cover those costs incurred, including Covid-19 related costs that may not be insurable. This may include costs relating to medical expenses, government border closures, lockdowns, quarantine and self-isolation, mandated testing, etc.

2. Quarantine

As always if you feel sick, don’t come to work! Please be extra cautious and if in doubt, stay at home. Take it easy and get better, or if you need to, work from home (WFH).

If you are worried that you have been in contact with someone who has Coronavirus, please isolate in accordance with government guidelines.

3. Meetings

We will not meet face to face with external people in the office.

The polite copy to attach to email meeting invites to communicate this is available here.

Carefully refer to the policies of our clients and prospects. Some of them have barred vendor visits.

4. Attending Events

Consider whether it is necessary to go to large events (e.g. conferences, exhibitions). Carefully check the policy of the event to see what they are doing to reduce risk.

5. Organising Events

We will monitor the situation and make decisions before organising our own events.

6. Holidays

It is your call whether to travel for holidays, but please reconsider the respective governments Safe Travel advice: NZ, Aust & USA.

7. At-risk people

If you have close family/friends or people you live with who are at risk, you should be particularly careful.
