Introduction

At Five Good Friends (FGF), we work with members of our community who are most at risk of ill-health from COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses. We are committed to providing a safe work environment for all our workers. As a values-based provider, we do our best to provide continuity of services to our Members within this commitment. These guidelines state our clear position on when not to come to work, and then return to work during the COVID-19 pandemic. This guideline also outlines when a worker can attend work when the worker is unwell but not directly impacted by COVID-19.

Attending work is defined as any FGF-related activity outside of your home, e.g. visits to Members or work locations such as the Head Office.

The following document summarises the FGF Attending Work Guidelines in accordance with a worker’s COVID status and community transmission levels, and any other circumstance where respiratory symptoms or other illnesses are present. This document must be read in conjunction with the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedure.
