RESPECT

Our founder, Katia, our hosts Jeanne, as well as our volunteers, deserve the same respect and kindness you would want to receive! Be assured they are working hard (often in the background) for you to have a great stay. However, remember this is a very “hands-on” experience and if they are here to help they are not here to serve.

We will not tolerate any abusive, racist, sexist, or homophobic language or behaviour. In case of disagreement, communicate the best you can and remember it is also ok to agree to disagree.

We ask you to treat the space the way you would treat your own home. Leave a room in a better state than you found it when you entered it. Fold that blanket, pick up that mug.

Take a minute to look around and take it all in… you are in a castle that was built in the 12th century… Great privileges come with great responsibilities: some things are old and fragile, let’s be gentle and understanding.

We are surrounded by beautiful nature. Let’s keep it that way.

Do not try to touch or approach the wild life. There are bugs around. Sometimes they even find their way in. They are more afraid than you are, we promise.

You are responsible for your own experience. We can only give you tips and suggestions. Take responsibility for your needs and expectations.
