CO-OP DAO is an equal-ownership entity that's tuned for equal-sharing, while giving allowances for guiding incentives.

Basic idea: Incoming revenue is split to all DAO members, but members who contributed to an income-generating project receive an added tip. The DAO tip ratio is determined via a simple majority vote. Personal project development costs (tools/services) are accounted for via reimbursement system.

Like most worker co-ops, the group operates more like 'family' with a vested interest in one another to complete projects. The aim to towards the value of Positive Sum work. We want to maximize worker equality while also balancing fairness as well as incentives to 'flow together' as a team.

Game theory:

A CO-OP DAO will decide by a vote on how much to reword-by-tip the income-generating project workers within the community. The DAO has an incentive to allow into the group only high skilled/producing new members, and to keep the tip as high as possible to motivate members to engage in work. If the 'workers' feel the tip is too low, they may decide to leave the DAO, which further provides an incentive to keep the tip reasonable. At the same time, current non-income workers have an incentive to keep the tip from going too high in favor of the workers as the non-project-workers need funds to perform their non-income role (dao marketing, care givers, emotional support providers, etc).

Terminology:

Current scope limitation: The DAO aims to optimize for the ideal number of members where there is high trust and good communication between all members.

Version Changelog:

0.1 - initial pass with team project tip

0.2 - added project champion tip, renamed 'direct contributor' to just 'participating contributor' to be inclusive of non-direct assistance

0.3 - Tip ratios are set by a simple DAO vote
