The CHH mission is to give players as many competitive singles matches in a positive environment. These R&Rs exist for a very good reason**…**to help us all achieve that mission. Which requires Commitment, Availability (most weekends, some weekdays/nights), Clear and Timely Communication (in matches, between matches), Good Sportsmanship, Timely Withdrawal Decisions, and: NO JERKS!
When you register for CHH Events you enter into a contract with the CHH League Manager. These R&Rs are enforced, infringements are acted upon (particularly breaking a Golden Rule).
There is a very simple way to avoid getting upset once you arein the situation of being informed by the CHH League Manager that another player has reported you for infringing R&Rs**: Abide by the R&Rs 100% — the league might have a flexible schedule however these R&Rs are absolutely NOT flexible.**

Administrative action is taken by the CHH League Manager against CHH players who infringe on the below rules and regulations.
There is much less leniency and tolerance for infringements of The Golden Rules, which are further marked as <<GOLDEN RULE>> in the R&Rs below.

Agreement to Comply
PLAYERS AGREE THAT THEY HAVE READ AND WILL COMPLY BY THE BELOW RULES AND REGULATIONS ON REGISTRATION TO ALL CHH EVENTS. THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS MAY BE CHANGED DURING EVENT BY THE CHH AND THE AFFECTED PLAYERS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL OR THE LEAGUE WHATSAPP GROUP.
1. Registration
2. Grading and Player Assignment
Players will be assigned to groups/divisions based on their player rating (a mix of UTR and Challonge rating). If players do not have a rating, they will be graded by the CHH and assigned to a group.
2a. Playing Up in a Division
If players wish to ‘play up’ in a division higher than their player rating, they must apply for a ‘CHH Grading Exemption’. The decision to approve a grading exemption will be based on meeting the competitive needs of the CHH group, not the individual. Please see the ‘Grading’ webpage for more info on how these decisions are made.
