This Privacy Policy describes how CHECKit handles information when you use the app.
Overview
CHECKit is a personal checklist app where you create named slots and store items you want to check off and bring back later. The app is designed to be private, minimal, and free of social, account, or feed-based features.
Data we collect and store
2.1 Account and identity
CHECKit does not require you to create an account. CHECKit does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other direct identifiers.
2.2 Content you enter
The text you type into CHECKit, including slot titles, checklist items, and related timestamps such as created, checked, or unchecked dates, is stored on your device. In the current version, this data is not automatically synced to a remote server or shared with other users. If future versions add optional backup or sync features, the app will clearly indicate this and explain what is stored remotely and how.
2.3 Device and technical data
CHECKit may process basic technical information such as: – Device type and operating system version – App version – Anonymous crash or error information
This information is used only to maintain and improve app stability and performance.
2.4 Sensitive data
You may choose to enter personal or sensitive information in your slot titles or checklist items. This information is under your control and is stored as app data on your device. You should avoid entering information you are not comfortable storing on your device.
Data processing and access
Your content is stored as application data and is accessible through the CHECKit app on your device. The developer does not routinely access your content and has no built-in mechanism to read your entries. If future versions introduce any server-side features, they will be designed to minimize access to your content and will be described in an updated version of this policy.
Analytics, tracking, and advertising
CHECKit does not include third-party advertising SDKs. CHECKit does not show ads. CHECKit does not sell your data to third parties.
If lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics or diagnostics are used, they are only for: – Understanding app performance, such as crash reports or aggregate feature usage – Improving reliability and user experience
Any future change that introduces third-party analytics or tracking for marketing or profiling would be described in a revised version of this policy.
