I have created a WebStorm plugin with some handy CDK snippets to make your life easier. Download the plugin below and follow the instructions.

Installation

cdk-snippets-v1.0.0.zip

1. Choose File | Import Settings from the menu.
2. Specify the path to the archive with the exported live template configuration.
3. In the Import Settings dialog, select the Live templates checkbox and click OK.
4. After restarting WebStorm, use cmd + j and type CDK. to see all the CDK templates.

The available snippets are:

• CDK.Empty.Aspect - Creates an empty CDK Aspect declaration
• CDK.Empty.Construct - Creates an empty CDK Construct declaration
• CDK.Empty.Stack - Creates an empty CDK Stack declaration
• CDK.Full.Aspect - Creates a full blown CDK Stack Aspect declaration
• CDK.Full.Construct - Creates a full blown CDK Construct declaration
• CDK.Full.Stack - Creates an empty CDK Stack declaration
