Company Summary
Biggabed was founded in 2019 at Middlebury College by a first‑year student who was tired of sleeping in twin XL dorm beds and decided to do something about it. After early prototyping with 3D‑printed hooks and broken hockey sticks, the first “Biggabed” was born. Six years later, the product has significantly improved. Biggabed now operates at more than 30 schools, has a Campus Director team of 34 students, and has rented over 3,000 beds.

A Biggabed Campus Director is much more than a campus rep. It is an entrepreneurial, owner‑level role, involved in every aspect of running the business.
Campus Directors are the voice, brain, and body of Biggabed on campus:
- Voice: Communicate and pitch Biggabed to administration and students.
- Brain: Organize actions within Biggabed systems, think through plans, and solve problems.
- Body: Handle on‑the‑ground work related to renting our product.
Effectively, as a Biggabed Campus Director, you are Biggabed on your campus.

What You'll Do

The Biggabed Campus Director position includes two key sub‑roles. We are open to one person who believes they can excel in both aspects, but we generally prefer a team of two Campus Directors, one for each role. While the roles are clearly defined here, it is by no means a strict cutoff between the two — we fully expect each CD team member to work as a team, and assist anywhere and everywhere that help is needed.
Sales and Marketing
The Sales and Marketing Campus Director is responsible for everything that happens before a Biggabed is purchased. We look for someone personable, engaging, and not afraid to put themselves out there. Ideally, you’re that person who “knows everyone.”
- Create engaging, authentic content for social media, primarily TikTok and Instagram, in addition to posting standard “informational” Biggabed posts.
- Be the bridge between Biggabed, your college, and your peers, communicating with the school, potential and active customers, and the BiggaHQ team.
- Plan and run marketing campaigns with help from BiggaHQ, including everything from posters, to on‑campus events.
- Offer top‑notch customer service, and build strong connections within the student body.
- Set marketing, rental, and customer satisfaction goals. Track progress, ensure targets are met, and provide feedback.
Operations and Customer Service
The Operations and Customer Service side of the Campus Director's responsibilities includes everything that comes after a Biggabed is purchased. We look for someone organized, an effective communicator, a problem solver, and someone who isn’t afraid of hard work.
- Organize the logistics of all bed movement: receiving the product, storage, and delivery to and pickup from students. Coordinate closely with your team and the school for a seamless customer experience.
- Recruit and train a logistics team to help with bed movement, storage, and operations.
- Ensure the quality of our product, and create an exceptional service experience for students and parents.
- Track inventory and maintain quality checks to plan for future needs.
- Address and resolve any product‑related issues for customers as they arise.
