This Privacy Policy describes how CATCHit handles information when you use the app.
Overview
CATCHit is a personal capture app for short, time‑stamped “catches” (titles and optional body text) you create for yourself.
The app is designed to be local, minimal, and free of accounts, social features, feeds, or cloud sync.
Data we collect and store
1. Account and identity
- CATCHit does not require you to create an account.
- CATCHit does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other direct identifiers.
2. Content you enter
- The information you enter into CATCHit (including titles, body text, timestamps, and any reflections you add later) is stored on your device as app data.
- In the current version, this data is not automatically synced to a remote server and is not shared with other users.
- If future versions add optional backup or sync features, the app will clearly indicate this and explain what is stored remotely and how.
3. Device and technical data
- CATCHit does not integrate third‑party analytics, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking libraries.
- Outside of what the app stores themselves collect for their own purposes (for example, basic install and crash stats), CATCHit does not collect additional device identifiers or diagnostic data for its own backend, because there is no backend.
4. Sensitive data
- You may choose to enter personal or sensitive information when writing catches or reflections.
- This information is under your control and is stored as app data on your device.
- You should avoid entering information you are not comfortable storing on your device.
