I am from Foz do Arelho, born and raised, and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. This is where I want to stay.

Like many people on this list, I attended kindergarten and primary school here in Foz. I took part in catechism and the “Jovens em Movimento” holiday camp, an initiative that shaped several generations and which I believe is essential to revive. It would provide activities for our children and young people during the summer, giving parents peace of mind while they work.

My first job was as an assistant at the Foz ATL, which unfortunately has since closed.

Later, I worked in various local bars (Ala Norte, Oásis, Inatel, Cais da Praia, Távola, Marcianus) and I also helped manage Café Caravela. Today, I work as an administrative assistant in a company in the industrial zone.

Now I am a mother, and I want my son to grow up as I did: with the freedom to play in the streets of Foz, to live in the village, and to learn to love it as much as I do.

For me, this village is special! Those of us from here know how to take care of our own. This village is not just where we live, it is part of who we are.

That is why I trust this list: composed of people from our land who know it as well as I do and want the best for our future: to revitalize it, bring it to life, and ensure it never fades away. I want to be part of that change!

From our land, for our land.
