Please note that for insurance and safety purposes the Chateau cars can only be driven by team members or rented via the ouicar website.

As stated in our terms&conditions, using the chateau cars is at your own risk.

If we organize day trips, where we need to use the chateau cars, we post in Slack how much the chip-in for the car use would be (it includes gas, car maintenance and driver).

If you have a car, we appreciate you proposing trips and carpooling on slack (of course everyone will chip in)

If you don’t have a car you can also propose a day trip or activity, we will do our best to fit it into the weekly schedule and manage cars between guests or use chateau cars if needed.

💰To have a rough idea of the car use cost, it’s 0,8 Euro per km divided into the number of people joining (excluding the driver).

💡There are several car rental options around:

• You can rent our Citroen or our Van directly on Ouicar
• You can rent a car from an individual on Ouicar or opt for peer-to-peer car sharing on **Getaround**
• Supermarket **Super U car rental service –** choosing the shop of Saint Mere Eglise
• Supermarket Leclerc car rental service – choosing shop in Carentan les Marais
• Supermarket Carrefour car rental service – choosing shop in Carentan les Marais
• Renting from the known international car rental companies that you can find at the airports is of course also an option.
