Purpose

This SOP covers the Buyer Manager's day-to-day responsibilities — from the moment a buyer inquiry arrives through qualification and handoff. Yvonne handles buyer onboarding for both Full Service and Toolkit listings. The qualification steps are the same; the handoff is different.


1. Inquiry Received

~95% of buyer inquiries arrive automatically via API from business-for-sale sites (BizBuySell, BusinessesForSale.com, BusinessBroker.net). Rare manual entries are handled via the New Buyer Form.

On every new inquiry, Deal Studio automatically:

Yvonne's action: Follow up on the scheduled call task the next business day. If the buyer hasn't submitted their profile + NDA, remind them and answer any questions.


2. Buyer Profile + NDA Submitted

When a buyer submits their Buyer Profile + NDA, Deal Studio updates the buyer record with net worth, liquidity, location, and experience data.
