Pixxel is a space data company, building a constellation of hyperspectral earth imaging satellites and the analytical tools to mine insights from that data. The constellation is designed to provide global coverage every 24 hours, with the aim of detecting, monitoring and predicting global phenomena. As we ramp up our commercialisation/sales operations, we’re looking to onboard a sharp and enthusiastic business development intern to support our market outreach efforts.
What you will do:
The business development intern will support Pixxel’s Chief of Staff and Head of Commercialization across key partnership and sales activities.
- Lead generation across priority sectors such as oil and gas, agriculture, urban monitoring and environment
- Prospecting customers and setting up discovery calls
- Researching top strategic accounts in-depth to identify revenue opportunities and building comprehensive account maps
- Supporting Pixxel’s US business development team with client outreach
- Sourcing partnership leads such as global consortiums and international organizations that Pixxel can collaborate with to increase visibility within the industry
- Support research for whitepaper development
- Build and maintain customer relationship management database
- Support marketing activities such as building lead databases for content campaigns
- Support with creation of decks, notes and other collateral to support org. level strategic priorities
What we’re looking for:
- Those enrolled in a bachelors/masters degree. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated experience in a business development function is a plus
- Comfortable with conducting business research
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities
- Ability to multitask and deliver high quality work in a time-bound manner
