We're looking for the first business development associate to join our team to help lay the foundation of our sales efforts. As the first business development hire at Causal, you'll play a significant role in developing the the go-to-market strategy for the company.
What you'll work on:
- Prospect new business opportunities through bottoms-up market research
- Develop and execute on outreach strategy across different channels (cold calling, email, Linkedin, etc)
- Maintain a robust database of leads and conduct routine follow-up to convert leads to opportunities
- Qualify inbound leads
- Work closely with the founders and Head of Business Operations at each stage of the sales process
You'll ideally:
- Have some outbound sales experience in SaaS (experience with finance tools is a plus)
- Have excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and analytical skills
- Have a very strong work ethic with confidence to work autonomously
- Be technically savvy with software tools and no-code workflows
Where you will work:
- We are a globally distributed team working remotely with members of our team on both sides of the Atlantic - we do have a presence in London
