Primary Goals

• Obtain more in-depth information about a few members of my target audience
• Obtain qualitative data from interviewees to aid in the creation of personas, and in the design of the bus app
• Create a deeper sense of empathy for potential users of the bus app

Secondary Goals

• Gain a better understanding of how expansions to bus lines directly affect users
• Narrow down choices for a feature to add to the app

Hypothesis

I expect to come away from these interviews with

• a deeper empathy for my target audience.
• a useful amount of qualitative data to help inform personas and app design.
• a realistic amount of actionable user needs and desires.

Recruitment Plan

For my user interviews, I will primarily use contacts that were provided from my survey. This will ensure that the participants are pre-screened and fit the basic interview criteria, which require that participants:

• ride the bus at least monthly
• have used a transit app
• provided at least one piece of qualitative feedback
