Confirmed
- Your order has successfully been received and has entered the queue.

- Projects are worked on based on the order I received them in.

Preparing Printing
- Adding holes to the model to place magnets once printed.

- The standard pre-printing process with any resin 3D print:
- Scaling the model to the appropriate size.

- Aligning the model to fit on the printer’s build plate.
- If a piece is too big, additional work has to be done to manually cut the 3D model down into smaller fragments.

- Hollowing the model to save resin and make it lightweight.

- Adding “drain holes” so that uncured resin doesn’t stay trapped in the model.

- Adding support structures to the model.

- Slicing the model.

Printing
- Model parts are currently being 3D printed in resin.

- Printing times vary wildly between models.
- Depending on the complexity, detail, and scale:
- Highly detailed large models can take 2 weeks of printing time.

- Less detailed chibi models can take less than a week of printing time.

- Printing failures do happen and I try my best to account for this in the printing timeline.
- I spend a lot of time in the Preparing Printing phase to avoid failures as much as possible.

Post-Processing (Printing is finished)
- The model goes into its first “bath” of 99% isopropyl alcohol to clean off excess resin.

- The model goes into its second (and usually final) bath of cleaner 99% isopropyl alcohol.

- A hairdryer is used to gently heat up the pieces to make removing support structures easier.

- Magnets are added to the holes made in the Preparing Printing stage.

- The model is dry-fitted to ensure all the pieces fit/magnetize together.

- The pieces are cured in an ultraviolet “oven”.

- Depending on how pieces fit together, there may be additional work of filling gaps.

- I sand the pieces remove support marks, layer lines, gap filler residue, and any other printing blemishes.

Painting
- All pieces are first painted with a primer.
- Some blemishes are only visible once primed so the sanding step from the previous stage may be revisited.

- I allow primers to fully cure for 24 hours so that subsequent paint layers adhere properly.

- I usually complete all of my airbrushing before detail work.

- Details are typically hand brushed.

- Once painting is completed, the entire model is sealed in a clear lacquer varnish for protection.

- I let the varnish cure for a full 24 hours.

Quality Check
- I inspect each piece to ensure the paint has cured properly and there no chippings, defects, etc.

- The model undergoes a last fit check to make sure it all pieces together as expected.

- If any steps need to be revisited (paint touch-ups, fit adjustment, etc.) I’ll notate it on this tracker in the Notes column.

- Once the model passes my inspection, the final photos are taken.

Preparing Shipping
- Foam sheets are cut specific to the model’s shape.

- The model is securely packaged in a box and ready to be sent.

Shipped
- You’ll receive a shipping tracking number as soon as the shipping label is created.

- Typically, a shipping label is created when you place your order.
- You’ll receive an email once the order has been physically dispatched and on the way to you. 🙂
