NOTE: DON’T FORGET TO PIN YOUR CONTENT! IT’S THE EASIEST THING TO FORGET TO DO. IF YOU DON’T PIN IT IT WILL DISSAPEAR WHEN YOU LEAVE THE WORLD.
Worlds are the base models that you can build your Virtual Classrooms on. In the Beta, you are provided with these five worlds.
We will be releasing more worlds themed around different subjects and activities in future updates. Stay tuned!
Click on the Classrooms tab in your dashboard. Classrooms are where you can customize your Worlds with your lesson content and other materials. You can add links, PDFs, photos, videos, GIFs and much more to your world.
Select ‘New Classroom’. Give your Classroom a title and description, then select from one of the five base worlds.
Then select ‘Edit Room’. This brings to Classroom Editor.
The Classroom Editor is a simplified version of your regular user interface with ‘Add Media’ and “Add Text’ buttons to add and label your content.
You can import all of the content you typically use to teach your lesson, including photos, videos, PDFs, GIFs and more. You can even import 3D models.
You add media by dragging and dropping a file into the room, or by copying (ctrl+c or command+c) and pasting (ctrl+v or command+v) it into the room.
URLs to any website, including other edtech programs, can also be added to your worlds. Simply copy and paste the URL into the world.
