knowing this, implementing good practices to diminish the abandonment rate is an absolute priority for any e-commerce website that is trying to increase conversions and revenues.

I tackled this Problem on three axes

  2. information hierarchy & non-distracting CTAs
  3. Build credibility and trust with your end-user

1. Clear and simple Design

Simple that means using crystal clear language to leave no room for misunderstanding and displaying all the information with transparency and using comprehensible design.

1- As you can see creating a clear detailed product details section helps the user identify their purchased items and make them make spend little time on the cart page

<aside> 💡 The more time visitors spend on your cart page, the more likely they are to leave it.

2- making sure that the pricing the user is paying is detailed and accurate helps the user feel safe. not knowing the exact amount that will be deducted from the user bank account is one of the major reasons a user will abandon their cart

3- Clear info about the accurate delivery time helps the user to make a quick decision to check out and reassure them to make that decision

4-If your user is going to abandon the cart make sure they will leave the cart not your website

2. information hierarchy & non-distracting CTAs

Paying attention to the logic behind buttons, columns, and titles as they will heavily influence the users’ perception.

using only 3 colors to highlight the importance of each CTA (Green: Very Important, Orange: Important, Grey/Black: Secondary) helps the user focus on the main objective of the page.
