If you’ve ever been to a big event (or farm) before, you will have seen a buggy driving around. They are small utility vehicles, usually designed for 2-6 people and are used at our festivals to get around the site, transport staff and volunteers to and from their shift and to move supplies around.

Buggies will be driven by managers and supervisors and can only be operated if the driver has a valid driver’s licence.

If your Department Head has requested a buggy, they will maintain this access throughout the duration of the festival - managers may take on this responsibility on site. Once you have finished using the buggy, at the end of the event, you must return it back to the operations office, hand the keys to the office manager and fill out a return slip. If your buggy is needed by another staff member, it will be signed off with a time stamp, the slip will be replaced and the office manager will sign off on a sheet. The buggy will be returned within half an hour of its next use.

All drivers must agree to the below conditions prior to receiving the keys to their buggy.
