BudgetCat ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. By using BudgetCat, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

To provide a seamless experience, we collect the following types of data:
- A. Identity and Contact Data: We use Third-Party Authentication (Sign in with Apple / Google). We receive a unique identifier (UID), your name, and your email address. We do not see or store your social media passwords.
- B. Financial Data: We process the records you manually input (income, expenses, categories, budget targets, and investment plans).
- C. User Content (UGC): For Premium Users, the App allows you to upload images (receipts, notes) to your transactions. These are stored securely in Google Firebase Storage.
- D. Device and Usage Data: We may collect non-identifiable technical data (e.g., device model, OS version) to improve App performance and troubleshoot crashes.
3. How We Use Your Data
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Synchronization: To keep your data consistent across all your devices via cloud storage.
- Functionality: To provide analytics, spending distributions, and budget tracking.
- Authentication: To securely identify you and prevent unauthorized access.
- Premium Services: To manage your subscription status and provide access to image upload features.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on industry-standard providers to power BudgetCat:
- Google Firebase: Used for Authentication, Firestore (database), and Cloud Storage. Data is processed according to Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Apple/Google Billing: All financial transactions for Premium features are handled by the respective app stores. We do not collect or store your credit card or bank account details.
5. Data Retention and Account Deletion (App Store Compliance)
