About us

Brown2Green is a clean-tech startup that is building the circularity infrastructure that can feed into the manufacturing of India.

What this means is that we can supply 100% green raw materials to crucial aluminium, copper, and other manufacturers that have a 90% reduction in carbon emissions.

We aspire to become capable of supplying all the raw materials needed for India’s Manufacturing across sectors by bringing precision into material recovery and enabling tech for one of the most unorganized sectors.

We're taking an exceptionally hard problem head on, and as a chief architect from India’s leading fintech company put it for us - "The problem you're solving is among the most difficult one's I've heard in years, but your solution is equally as bold!”

The Foundry Lab

The inception of this program was inspired by the founders’ experiences as college students building their ventures out of their hostels and rooms. Despite the ongoing of time, there has always remained a sense of providing opportunities to students that they wish they had themselves when they got started.

The idea is to let our startup, Brown2Green, act as a platform that can help launch talent. It’s a lab that let’s you use it’s facilities to play around with real-projects with real revenues all in service to experience the “art of startups”.

Today, in most situations, a person who wants to learn the language of startups has to spend years specializing in a subject matter; that could be Software Engineering, Digital Marketing, Analytics, etc, then join a startup to even have an opportunity at experiencing what it even means.

With Foundry Lab, we’re changing that. Think of it as an entrepreneurship school that is free, challenging, fun, and most importantly, the hardest thing you’ve probably done in your life until now.

it's like how one would not want to learn how to drive in their brand new car, but neither wants to become a mechanic because they aspire to be a driver some day. We're here renting out our car for the one's who are capable of racing it.

Now, we’d advise you not to assume this is only a learning opportunity. It is more than that. You will be running thing’s but at the same time be accountable. You succeed; you get the rewards. If your decisions fail, you need to own up to the very real losses we will be facing together. This is as “high-risk, high-reward” as it can get.

What we’re doing here is serious business. Our screening processes are tight and designed to only let in people who, in a sense, are “startup-coded”. As harsh as it sounds, we believe you’re either of startup fabric or you’re not.

We are not here to judge you on your skills or experience. The more you have, the better it might help you after you join us, but it’s definitely not the criterion you will be filtered on.

We are looking for more than knowers. We are looking to collaborate with those we think, if given the right tools, can build the next behemoth in the markets. Think SpaceX, Zerodha, Anthropic, Cian Agro (Just kidding, LOL).

We are not here to hire you; We are selectively giving complete access to our startup to be used as a platform that can help you learn how to run startups.

We urge everyone to apply. Though our acceptance rate sits at the 1st percentile, let the opportunity decide for you rather than you denying yourself the opportunity without trying at all. What we’ve observed is that many people have not yet realised their abilities at all, and we’re here to identify exactly that.
