Twitter is a social media platform where people interact in short blobs of messages, which has a text limit of 280 characters. Posts from the platform are named Tweets. These tweets carry different media types like photos, gifs, videos, audio files (this is only available to iOS devices) and links.
Launched in the year 2006. As of 2019, Twitter had amassed Three Hundred and Thirty (330), million users. This has been made available on phones, desktop apps and web apps all over the world. Twitter has features like polls, moments, fleets, retweet with comments and lots more. However, requests for the Edit feature on Twitter has not been rectified. The edit feature is geared towards rectifying typographical errors after tweets have been posted or shared.
