Problem Statement
The term "Breather" encompasses two primary problem spaces:
- Enhancing Mental and Physical Well-being: Users seek effective methods to improve their mental and physical health through guided breathing techniques and mindfulness practices.
- Mitigating Phone Addiction and Unintentional Use: Users struggle with excessive phone usage, distractions, and a lack of intentionality in their digital interactions.

The approach mirrored the core tenets of the Design Thinking methodology , adapted for a conceptual analysis:
- Empathise: User needs and pain points were inferred from problem statements and success factors highlighted in existing case studies.
- Define: The dual nature of the "Breather" concept was clarified, and specific user goals for each interpretation were established.
- Ideate: Potential user flows, interaction models, and visual design principles were conceptualised based on the defined problems and successful solutions observed in the research.
- Prototype (Conceptual): Hypothetical user journeys and interface elements were outlined to visualize potential interactions.
- Test (Conceptual): A conceptual UX audit was performed, evaluating potential strengths and weaknesses against established heuristics.
