Q&A sites are really popular.

What would make the experience even more compelling was if you got a reward for good answers.

Bounty contracts

The proposal is essentially a simpler version of Free Response markets

• The creator puts up a mana bounty
• Users can submit answers
• The creator can distribute the bounty among the answers as they see fit

I think this is what Austin might have already implemented once before in a draft PR. But I think it’s a good idea!

Also, I like a slightly different spin as a version of Q&A:

• Most users don’t really want to do actual work, which is what “bounty” implies
• They want to read Q&A’s, and occasionally write an answer in a few sentences

Use cases I see would be along the lines of

• “What should I do in this situation?”, or
• “What is the truth on topic X?”

It’s something users could enjoy reading, and is easy to answer. Rather than, “can you build a website for me”? Most people don’t want to do that.
