Booth Decorating Tutorial

NOTE: Depending on how fast your internet is, these things can take longer than you might expect. When in doubt, count to 10 slowly before thinking nothing is happening.

To set up your booth you will need to create and manipulate objects. Nothing in this tutorial will do damage to your computer or the project. Play with all of these functions to get your hands used to the environment. You will be doing things with both hands and it can be a bit hard at first.

There are three ways to create an object.

Importing a pre-made 3D object:

While you probably won't be using many pre-made 3D objects, the process for placing them is the same as placing your own pictures and objects, just with fewer steps. Use them to practice!

  1. At the top of the page is a red and white magic wand icon. Clicking it takes you to a page with a bunch of pre-made objects to choose from.
  2. Click on the picture you like.

  1. Simply drag and drop your image onto the Fair in the Clouds window.
  2. Not sure what that means? Take a look at the animated image below:

To import a picture from a web page:

  1. Open a second browser window and go to the page with the art you want.
  2. Resize that browser window so you can see your target behind it.
  3. Drag and drop the photo you want.
