TASSEL Inc. – Asani Project | 5–6 Month Project | 2025
→ about the project: I designed the complete visual and layout system for a bilingual (Urdu–English) menstrual health education guide developed under TASSEL Inc.’s Asani Project. Over the course of 5–6 months, I worked on structuring and formatting a full handbook (Version 1.0, November 2025), organising two detailed student session plans with interactive activities, educator prompts, and supporting material.
The project required careful handling of culturally sensitive content, building a clear and consistent layout system across languages, and creating a visual tone that felt safe, approachable, and respectful for school environments.
Working on a project of this scale strengthened my sensitivity toward designing and illustrating menstrual health content in ways that reduce stigma, improve comprehension, and support open, informed dialogue

→ about the project: Conceptualized and developed Period Paheli incollaboration with Baithak and FOS, an interactive card game designed to simplify menstrual health education and challenge stigma in conservative school settings. Alongside a customized menstrual health Bingo activity, the tools were implemented across four districts of Sindh—Badin, Jamshoro, Thatta, and Dadu—reaching 1,000+ adolescent girls.
The game translated complex biological concepts, hygiene practices, and myth-busting information into engaging, participatory learning experiences. By integrating play-based learning, the sessions created safe spaces for open discussion, improved retention of information, and encouraged girls to ask questions without shame.
This initiative demonstrates my ability to design culturally responsive educational tools that promote menstrual dignity, confidence, and inclusive education at scale.
