Why Flow
Sven Hansen is a seasoned marketer & serial entrepreneur who has scaled and bootstrapped multiple brands to 7 figure revenues. Loving sports and sporting merchandise, specifically for his favourite hometown Basketball team - the Toronto Raptors. He first learned about the Flow Blockchain through NBA Topshot, which gave him a user experience with the platform like none other. He found it to offer the most accessible crypto wallet payment checkout he’d ever used, provided by Dapper Wallet. His innovative streak was interested in discovering how to market NFT products and services to the masses. He immediately sought out more information on the company behind NBA Topshot.
Dapper Labs, the creators of Flow Blockchain, a blockchain built after their project Crypto Kitties crashed the Ethereum blockchain in 2016. The Flow blockchain was now home to some of the biggest sports and entertainment NFT franchises, such as NBA Topshot, NFL All Day, UFC Strike, Billboard Charts, and more.
Flow Blockchain allowed transactions to happen safer and more efficiently, and minting one NFT on the Flow Blockchain required less energy than an Instagram post. Furthermore, due to the efficiency of the network itself, there are no gas fees for customers on transactions. Sven knew this was one of the main barriers to entry toward the mass adoption of NFT collecting.
Dapper Labs also created (arguably) the easiest-to-use crypto wallet for the average person. They had positioned it as a payment platform that could pose fewer barriers to entry for new users to make purchases using credit cards or bank transfers. Typically, in the NFT space, users had to transfer currency into various crypto coins and send through multiple wallet transactions before making a purchase.
Sven knew this was the right place to build an NFT collectables brand and ecosystem. He sought the help of co-founder Travis, a developer with over a decade of experience building and working on some of the most intricate websites and applications. The artist behind the Bobblz artwork comes from co-founder Damien, an illustrator and multi-disciplinary visual designer who has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world, such as Audi, Google, Mcdonald's, Staples, Chase, and more. Together the three would take the concept of ordinary old bobbleheads and turn them into something extraordinary, into Bobblz.

Bobblz is a vibrant animated genesis collection of 7777 full-body, PFP-style collectibles.
