The Board and Brew is a board game cafe that has locations in College Park, MD and Philadelphia, PA. I chose to redesign their website so that it is more accessible to people with accessibility needs. Board & Brew has a very good social presence, but it’s website is disjointed. This would increase the company’s revenue due to the fact that it would allow them to reach more people.

This is a solo design project. My role in this was to research the accessibility needs of the above groups and how the Board and Brew company website could address them. I was the visual designer for the Board & Brew web experience redesign.
Accessibility Research
For this project, I did research into different types of disabilities, whether temporary or permanent, and how best to design for users in a way that allows them to have the best experience no matter their circumstance. For this project, I looked at various barriers that affect how people with disabilities use the Internet. Then I looked at the solutions that can simply be put in place to improve their experience.
