Explanation: We're writing a blog post about People behind FightPandemics. The reason for that is we want to showcase the people who're putting their time, heart, and talents into making it all happen.
What we need:
- A short summary of your personal and professional information
- How did you join (Manu is your friend, you received an email from him, he reached to you in social media, another friend invited you, you saw the code on github?)
- Why do you believe in the vision?
- sentence or two on what's your role in the FightPandemics, what have you done so far and what parts of the project are you responsible for.
Don't worry about formatting or "writing nicely", we'll do that for you later on. Add your summary as the next one on the list.
🚨Don't forget to add your picture, skills , bio and your fav dessert to the 🚨
Please only write your name if you contributed to the project and got your hands dirty. All the information is tracked on notion, slack, figma, github... If you haven't contributed then there are many things to do in parallel please come to the #asks channel and say that you are available.
To give you an example, here's my summary.
- ~~Jakub Kliszczak, 23, based in Wrocław, Poland. In my day-to-day job, I take the role of Marketing Specialist at a customer service software company, Channels. There, I'm responsible for copywriting, content marketing, email marketing, and growing organic traffic. I joined the FightPandemics team after Manuel showcased the idea of the project to me while I was looking for a volunteering opportunity. His idea seemed like a great concept that when put to action, could help millions of people all over the world. So making the decision to join was a no-brainer. And, I do my best to use the same skills and experience that I gained ay my profession to create copy for FightPandemics, take care of the social media, create content for the website and help with anything marketing-related to spread the word about FightPandemics all over the web.~~
- Manuel González Alzuru, 30, digital nomad from Venezuela with a base in Barcelona, Spain. I have been working on creating a solid foundation for a collective venture builder called Vocado Ventures. I help entrepreneurs, startups, enterprises with everything related to innovation, marketing, product, fundraising, recruiting and deep tech. I focus on digital products that empower people, increase financial inclusion, increase decentralization and experiment with new type of digital organizations (DAOs / DACs). After experiencing the coronavirus, having a hard time to find people or organizations that could help me and my family, and then finding out that most of the information related to needs and resources at a global and at a local level was completely fragmented, I decided to take action and got an amazing team from all over the world who believed in the vision.
