Code of Conduct
1. Applicability
This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, mentors, volunteers, judges, sponsors, partners, and organizers of the AI for Good Hackathon 2025, across all physical and digital venues, including:
- Hackathon workspaces and demo areas
- Technical talks, webinars, and mentorship zones
- Community and networking events (in-person or online)
- Official chat platforms, forums, and social media interactions
All participants and contributors are expected to uphold these standards throughout the event.
2. Originality and Hackathon Integrity
Innovation is the core of this hackathon. All submissions must be:
- Developed entirely during the hackathon period.
- Any pre-existing code, past projects, or external solutions are strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved and fully disclosed during idea submission.
- Participants may use open-source libraries or public APIs, but all such usage must be declared at the time of submission.
- Plagiarism in any form will result in immediate disqualification.
3. Data Usage and Ethics
Respect for privacy and responsible data handling is expected:
- Any datasets provided by Blend or partners are for use only during the hackathon.
