Our flagship product is the Bitski User Wallet – a unique hardware-secured private key storage solution and single-sign-on wallet built for mainstream adoption. Additionally, we provide a convenient set of tools that help developers integrate blockchain into their product.
Bitski is available now for developers and their users. While the Bitski User Wallet integration is free, we offer a monthly subscription to additional developer services.
In late 2017, after spending 12 months working on consumer social products, the team became enamored with blockchain as a useful developer tool. After building a few prototypes of decentralized apps, the team quickly recognized the lack of tooling in the space would make it impossible for any blockchain-based product to reach a mainstream audience.
Wallets are the linchpin for interacting with content on blockchains. Just like an email address has been effectively a requirement for interacting with web 2.0 apps over the past 15 years, everyone will need a wallet to interact with products built with a blockchain.
By the end of 2017, the architecture and user experience of existing wallets wasn’t suitable for the development or adoption of mainstream products. This became the foundation for what we’re building at Bitski – to build a usable, secure wallet infrastructure that could support developers and their users at mass market scale.
After spending the last 12 months working with our partners, our platform has evolved to solve additional challenges developers face when integrating a blockchain into their products.
