Chris Lopez is a Denver area real estate entrepreneur, investor and author as well as the host of Bigger Pockets’ House Hackerz show and the Denver Real Estate Investing Podcast. His unique ability to combine marketing, sales and tech has allowed Chris to quickly establish himself as a thought leader in Denver, creating a community of real estate investors, industry experts and entrepreneurs across Colorado.

Despite skepticism from his peers, Chris has repeatedly put media and marketing at the forefront of his businesses. By focusing on creating tremendous value, he has been able to leverage his media presence as a launch pad to build an ecosystem of real estate investing businesses including Envision Advisors, Property Llama, and Ironton Capital.

In addition to running his numerous businesses, Chris enjoys helping investors through his podcast, YouTube channel and website, guiding both new and seasoned investors on how to build wealth through real estate.

Known as the “Denver Real Estate Guy”, Chris Lopez’s ability to combine marketing, sales and technology has helped him quickly build an impressive ecosystem of businesses giving clients and partners a wide-range of opportunity in their real estate investing journey. Moving to Colorado in 2017 with no network to fall back on, his unique media-first approach has quickly allowed Chris to establish himself as a well respected thought leader in the Colorado real estate investing community.

As an experienced entrepreneur, Chris has used his ability to identify gaps in the market to construct an ecosystem of businesses catered to real estate investors. The businesses include:

• His real estate brokerage, Envision Advisors was created after Chris saw that the traditional real estate agent model was outdated and inefficient. Located in Denver, its focus is to help investors build, grow and optimize their Real Estate portfolio through buying and selling investment properties in the Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo areas.
• Property Llama, a real estate portfolio investing analysis software, began after Chris saw a need for both himself and his clients to effectively review and optimize their entire rental portfolio. Blending his degree in financial planning, investors can manage and track returns of their properties making it easier for clients to plan and leverage, without the use of hefty spreadsheets.
• Most recently, Chris has become a partner at Ironton Capital. A real estate private equity firm for passive investors, it uses a unique approach for putting together diversified real estate funds by focusing on geography, asset class, and strategy. Almost no investors have diversity in their portfolio, a gap Chris saw in his own clients portfolio as well.

Despite the skepticism from his peers, Chris recognised early on, that marketing was going to be the driving force behind building relationships in a new market and attracting new clients.

• Chris’s podcast, the Denver Real Estate Investing Podcast- was launched in 2017 with the goal of “owning” the attention of real estate investors in Colorado. Its focus is to educate both new and seasoned investors on how to build wealth through real estate in the Denver metro area.
• In 2020, the Colorado Springs Real Estate Investing Podcast was launched with the goal of reaching even more investors throughout Colorado. Since their launch, the podcasts have helped build a dedicated community and audience that stretches far beyond Colorado.
