Kenneth Bok is a consultant and angel investor specializing in DeFi (decentralized finance). He is author of “Decentralizing Finance” and the Managing Consultant of Blocks.sg, a DeFi advisory firm based in Singapore. Blocks.sg conducts research on the DeFi ecosystem and provides guidance to startups and finance professionals.

Previously, Kenneth served as the Head of Growth and Strategy at Zilliqa, a blockchain technology company, where he led ecosystem and business development. He also played a key role as the lead organizer for De/Centralize 2018, a groundbreaking conference held in April 2018 that brought together prominent VCs, blockchain startups, developers, and SGInnovate to showcase the potential of blockchain and web3 technology. Additionally, he volunteers as a mentor for R3, an enterprise blockchain company.

Kenneth began his career in finance as an equities trader at Goldman Sachs. Since 2014, he has been an investor in digital assets, particularly 'Layer 1' blockchains such as Ethereum, Cosmos, and Tezos at the seed stage. He is an active angel investor in web3 startups.

Kenneth is a frequent speaker at technology events, contributes to prominent industry platforms, and has been featured and quoted in various leading media outlets, including CNBC, Euromoney, Business Times, CNA938, CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, MONEY FM89.3, TODAY, Nasdaq, and SCMP. He holds an M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College and an M.A. in Philosophy from CIIS.
