The historian, Bemus, is a sidekick. He is a historian who assists the protagonist throughout her journey, providing information about mythology and the history of ancient Greece. Bemus is a wise scholar residing in one of the realms, and he narrates the known history of the titans and the war between them and the gods to Halia.
Astounded by the mission he proposed to Halia to gather information about the titan Jápeto, he decides to accompany and aid her with his knowledge whenever she requires it.
Physical Appearance
Bemus is 55 years old, slim, and of short stature. He never cared much about his appearance and sports a neglected beard.
Biography
Born in a small coastal village with no children his age, Bemus spent most of his time with his father, a librarian who traveled to the most important libraries in Greece to acquire new manuscripts. He accompanied his father and asked about mythology, a subject that fascinated him. When his father was killed, he was still young, but he decided to carry on his legacy. Over the years, he acquired vast knowledge, and since there were not enough manuscripts for everyone, he decided to trade his knowledge and memorized books.
Personality
Bemus' mysterious demeanor draws people to him, eager to learn the secrets of the gods that he knows. Despite being well-known, he prefers to avoid large crowds and feels more comfortable in smaller groups where he can maintain an air of mystery and be himself.
He is cautious and prudent. His ambition led him to gain many benefits by trading his knowledge, an uncommon profession. He can be stubborn, making it difficult to sway him during discussions. In the company of trusted individuals, he is fun and sarcastic, creating a lively atmosphere.
