01 Research & Empathize

I researched themes tied to Valentine’s Day (unity, relationships, connection) and strength/togetherness (bold imagery, visual metaphors of support). I also mapped the typical order of service to identify which slides were needed for both in-person attendees and livestream viewers.

02 Define the Problem

The main barrier was creating unique slides for February that felt fresh, while still fitting into the church’s branding. Importantly, the designs needed to serve both audiences: the congregation inside the church and the viewers joining online.

03 Ideation

Initial Thoughts The central concept was to use bold typography to convey strength, paired with a rope illustration woven through the title text to symbolize togetherness. This gave the visuals both power and warmth.
