This game was one of my favorites to make. Back in the day I used to write small stories that took me hours to make, it was just me sitting behind my computer or a computer at school and I just wrote whatever I could think of, these stories took me hours and hours, had gramatical mistakes (just like texts I write these days), did not have a storyline that made any sense (nothing made sense really), but i had so much fun while writing them and reading them to my family or showing it to others (even if they did not always like it). This 'game' brought me back to those days, when I used to just write little stories because I loved doing so. The exercise was to make a text adventure in C# and we had a checklist of things we needed to include. Now like i explained before, I used to love writing little stories, and I still do. And that's exactly what I did, I spent hours and hours just thinking about the characters and how to add details to their stories, their lives, their experiences and more. At first I wanted this game to be a goofy game where a skeleton head would follow you around and tell you what you are seeing. After a while of just me writing the story as it came into my mind i saw that I went a bit further than that, I started to write about a man named Will. Now Will was the main character from my old stories, The adventures of Will, so that name already meant alot to me. But instead of writing a goofy or funny story, I decided to make it a more realistic story. The game starts where Will wakes up in his bed to the voice of his wife, you, the player, are Will and supposed to go downstairs to check on your children and wife. In the game you can look around multiple rooms, all have alot of different objects to inspect, items to pick up and have an interesting and sometimes saddening past. The story has 5 different endings, depending on what items you picked up and used, which memories you remembered, and what code you put into the safe in the end. I wanted to continue the story someday, but to this day (05/07/2020) I have not made a sequel to this story.

I was so happy with the way the game turned out, I had some friends and family test out the game to make sure there weren't any bugs or spelling mistakes and I dont think there are too many errors. I was so proud of this game and so happy with all the hours I spent into detailing the story and all of these characters.

I was so proud of it that I decided to make it the first game on my Gamejolt page:

This is my favorite story I have made to this day and wish to continue on it some other day.
