Decentralized technology powers our lives in many different ways. Think about peer-to-peer sharing and transactions. Bitcoin, for example, has become one of the most valuable assets for peer-to-peer transactions. BitTorrent enables file sharing, and IPFS provides decentralized storage—eliminating the need to rely on a single server.
At Build Fest, we want you to think about how blockchain technology can solve problems you see on campus or encounter in real life. Blockchain makes your application transparent, trustworthy, and verifiable. If you're already familiar with blockchain, you can dive deep into a specific topic—like meme culture, decentralized finance, or payments—conduct research, and present your findings. If you're an engineer, we encourage you to build something—even if it's your first time. Start your web3 journey here at Badger Build Fest with Badger Blockchain.
