1. Overview

Bedford Lane builds high-converting Shopify and Webflow storefronts — and is now preparing to scale global delivery using a fully remote contractor workforce.

As part of my advisory engagement through Scale Pilot, I mapped backend operational gaps across onboarding, delivery, and compliance — and designed this system architecture to support scale without adding internal drag.

This SOP outlines the phased rollout: contractor onboarding, sprint systems, and classification safeguards — all mapped into one unified infrastructure. Deel is embedded as the EOR/payroll layer to ensure misclassification risk is mitigated as cross-border hiring scales.

2. Objectives

• ≥ 50 % reduction in manual admin per project
• Sprint workflows live ≤ 48 h after deal close
• Zero contractor‑classification risk as hiring scales
