We're seeking an experienced Backend Developer to build the robust, secure infrastructure that powers collaborative savings for communities across Nigeria and beyond. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services using FastAPI and Django that handle financial transactions, user management, and complex business logic with the highest standards of security and reliability.
The ideal candidate has strong experience building financial or payment systems, understands the unique challenges of fintech in emerging markets, and can architect solutions that handle sensitive financial data while maintaining optimal performance. You should be comfortable working with third-party financial APIs, implementing security best practices, and building systems that users can trust with their money.
You'll work closely with our frontend, product, and compliance teams to ensure our platform meets both user needs and regulatory requirements while scaling to serve growing communities of savers.
