Yes, you should regularly take 20-seconds breaks when working on your computer. And yes, I know you'll forget about this 20-20-20 rule tomorrow. So let's talk about something else.

Blue Light.

Did you know that the light from your laptop screen makes it harder to sleep? Luckily, there are tools for mitigating this.

"f.lux" prides itself as a software to make your life better, and deservingly so! It makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day. On top of that, it's an install-and-forget app, in the sense that you probably will forget about it in a few days after installing (it feels so natural) and it'll keep working in the background.

Our computer screens are designed to look like the sun. But at 10PM, you shouldn't be looking at the sun. It'll take a couple of days for you to adapt to the warm colors, but it'll be worth it.

😅You'd probably not want to use this if you're doing color-sensitive work.

🤓Pair that with an ambient noise generator like Noisli and create your perfect work environment (Starbucks, anyone?).
