Bliss, the Companion for Intimate Wellbeing

Cystitis can affect anyone, at any time—whether during a training session, a competition, or in everyday life. For many women, particularly athletes and those with active lifestyles, recurrent urinary tract discomfort is a disruptive and often underestimated condition. It is frequently misunderstood, under-acknowledged, and poorly supported by existing tools.

Bliss is a project developed to respond to this gap. It proposes a discreet, intelligent system designed specifically to help women prevent and manage cystitis flare-ups without compromising their physical activity or well-being.

Bliss consists of two interconnected elements:

The wearable allows users to interact through voice, offering a more natural and accessible way to log symptoms, emotional states, and daily changes—especially during moments of physical discomfort when typing or manual inputs are not ideal. It encourages users to express how they feel in real time, helping to create a more holistic record of their well-being.

The app complements the wearable by offering a range of personalized features:

Bliss is designed to adapt to individual rhythms and routines. It doesn’t just collect data—it helps users make sense of it, identifying potential triggers and supporting more informed decision-making in daily life and training.

This project explores how digital tools can offer empathy, personalization, and autonomy to women navigating chronic health conditions. In particular, it focuses on designing for the intersection between intimate health and physical performance—a space where care is often lacking.

Bliss aims to shift the narrative around cystitis from isolated episodes of discomfort to a continuous, supported experience—making it possible to live, train, and recover with greater awareness and fewer interruptions.
