Velorose Inaugural Summer Show (June, July, August 2026).

Submissions are now open for (BE)LONGING, a group exhibition at Velorose Gallery. The open call invites artists, architects, and creators to respond through new or existing work to the themes of Being, Longing, and Belonging. Selected works will be presented as part of Velorose Gallery’s inaugural summer show.

(BE)LONGING

Our open call builds on The London Festival of Architecture and its 2026 theme of Belonging, and seeks work that explores how individuals are drawn together through shared environments, atmospheres and instincts. The exhibition considers the themes of longing and displacement — moments of being in-between, untethered, searching for a sense of stability within unfamiliar landscapes. How does art generate connection, pause, or recognition within a shared space? Coinciding with Pride Month, Pride in London 2026, London Trans+ Pride 2026 and UK Black Pride 2026, the exhibition is attentive to questions of ex/inclusiveness and in/visibility. This is also, but not only, a Pride show. Submissions by all people and across all media are encouraged.
