• If your goal is to build an B4x Gen 1 to make 350WHP+ reliably, do not waste your time on a stage 2 turbo, it will not get you there on 93 / 98 RON, it will get close to the 370-390WHP mark on E85. • On B48TU 93/98RON stage 2 turbos typically see 360-370WHP and close to 390-400WHP on E85. Currently there is no “off the shelf” offerings however parts are readily available to perform an upgrade to the turbo. — Swapping the B48A20T01 turbo is slightly less work for B48TU than B48 Gen 1 and still surpasses a stage 2 B48TU turbo with regards to power capabilities.
• On B48A20T01 aka “B48E” or “B48T1” there are currently no upgraded stage 1/2 turbo options for these turbos.
