The Flip Media is a multi-property, multi-product media company for the African tech ecosystem. Our podcast has reached #1 on the entrepreneurship charts in every major Sub-Saharan African country (including South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and more). At present, we also publish a weekly newsletter and long-form essays - our content is consumed by leading startup founders and executives, venture capitalists, and other Africa-focused operators.

At present, our publishing workflow is super manual. I'd like to not only automate, but where necessary, rebuild from the ground up to ensure that we're not just throwing manpower at processes that can otherwise be automated. The primary objective is to free up my time for other products & properties, and to scale up production and content repurposing, as well.

I was considering just getting a Makerpad membership to learn by myself, but I think that's a bad use of my time - I would rather work with someone who already knows this stuff intimately to help me build out and implement processes.

Bigger picture, I endeavor to better position The Flip as a resource, and put greater focus on how content is presented, categorized and distributed. Inspired by -

Eventually, I plan to do other projects on the back of The Flip, e.g., a membership, other content formats (book or documentary), raise a fund, etc. but I need to improve processes to create the time to do all of this other stuff I hope to be doing in the future.
