Automation: Actor Triggers
Actor Triggers allow your character to react to the environment or their own status automatically. These are configured in the Triggers tab of the Cinematic Configuration window (Actor Sheet Header > ⚡).
❤️ Resource Triggers (Crisis Mode)
The module can monitor your character's vital statistics (HP, MP, Wounds, etc.) and play a "Crisis" cut-in when they drop below a certain percentage.
How it Works (Smart Detection)
- Select Path: In the Triggers tab, look for the Resource Triggers section.
- Use the Helper Dropdown to see a list of valid attributes detected on your actor.
- The module automatically scans for any attribute that has both a value and max property (e.g., system.attributes.hp.value).
- Set Threshold: Enter a percentage (e.g., 50 for 50%).
- Select Preset: Choose the cut-in preset to play.
Edge Trigger Logic
To prevent spamming the cut-in every time the actor takes damage while low, the module uses Edge Triggering:
- The cut-in plays only at the moment the resource drops from above the threshold to below it.
- It will not play again until the resource is healed back above the threshold and then drops again.
⚔️ Combat & Turn Triggers
Give your combat turns more flair by announcing the start or end of your turn.
- Turn Start Preset: Plays automatically when the Combat Tracker advances to this actor's turn.
- Usage: "It's my turn!", "Draw weapon!", or a tactical analysis animation.
- Turn End Preset: Plays when the actor's turn ends.
- Usage: "Turn complete.", "Your move.", or a defensive stance animation.
- Default Spell Preset: If this actor casts a spell item that does not have its own specific Item Trigger configured, this preset will play as a fallback.
- Usage: Perfect for Wizards/Sorcerers to have a generic "Chanting" animation for their utility spells without configuring every single one.
