Goal: Send personalized AI follow-up emails to new leads added in a spreadsheet.

Problem: Manual follow-up was time-consuming and inconsistent, resulting in lost opportunities and slower client onboarding.

Solution: A fully automated pipeline using GPT and Gmail, triggered by Google Sheets:

  1. Trigger: When a new or updated row appears in Google Sheets
  2. Filter: Proceeds only when "Status" is not set to "sent"
  3. ChatGPT (OpenAI): Creates a personalized email reply
  4. Gmail: Delivers the follow-up to the lead
  5. Google Sheets: Changes row status to "sent" and records the AI-generated message

Tools Used: Google Sheets, Zapier, ChatGPT (gpt-3.5-turbo-instruct) and Gmail.

Impact: Zero manual follow-ups, personalized email replies in seconds, full status tracking in one spreadsheet and easy to scale across industries and services.
