Field Notes

Auraliths are not born - they are become. When a Mana Cat is exposed to sustained high concentrations of mana crystal energy, something shifts. The crystal on their forehead begins to pulse. Wings emerge. The transformation is gradual, sometimes taking weeks, sometimes happening overnight.

All Mana Cats can become Auraliths under the right conditions. Correction: The conditions are more specific than initially believed. It may require a bond - not just mana exposure, but an emotional anchor. This is unproven but the pattern holds across every documented case.

Known Forms

• Dormant Auralith - Wings small or folded, crystal dim, personality cautious. Not yet fully transformed.
• Awakened Auralith - Wings expanded, crystal glowing, tail becomes elemental. Confident, powerful, striking.
• Corrupted Auralith - This entry has been sealed by the Archivist. Crystal cracked. Behavior unstable. Still seeks warmth. Handle with care. — Q
• Ascended Auralith - Quill has heard rumors. The Archive does not deal in rumors. (Yet.)

Auraliths are not yet available from the shop. The shopkeeper is studying them. When they arrive, you'll know - the Archive will hum.
